About Donna ...
After graduating with a Degree in Art, Donna received a scholarship to study in Ravenna, the home of mosaics. She started Donna Reeves Mosaics in 1996, designing and installing mosaics for interior designers, public bodies and private clients in the UK, Far East and US. Highlights include commissioned mosaic work for Sir Terence Conran's restaurants, George & Olivia Harrison’s private office, & Channel 4’s award-winning Indian Summer Season.
Donna is a trained Primary and Secondary School teacher and runs mosaic and ceramic workshops for all ages and abilities. She has written several books on mosaics, featured in a variety of interior design publications & appeared in a number of home improvement shows on TV.
Mosaic Workshops
Please take a look at the range of mosaic workshops available, for all age groups. After over 30 years studying and working as as a mosaicist, I will teach you the ancient art of mosaics. All tools and materials for your mosaic artwork will be included in the workshop price. The workshops are designed for complete beginners through to a more intermediate levels, with the technique of cutting the mosaic demonstrated and taught.
Ceramic Workshops
Please take a look at the selection of ceramic workshops available to book. All materials, tools and firing is included in the workshop price. Your work will be ready to collect 2/3 weeks after the workshop. Please note that all work goes into the kiln twice and there are risks of damage at each stage of the process..
Drawing Workshops
Drawing workshops are available for all abilities and age groups. There are block sessions for a thorough step-by-step guide on the process of observational drawing. Alternatively first choose one-off sessions to see if you enjoy them. Watch your skills develop and your confidence grow as you learn a variety of drawing techniques in a fun and relaxed setting.
